According to the UN, two-thirds of the world's population will live in cities by 2050. With a further densified population, we need to find ways to upscale provisions and review distribution to avoid a resource crisis and also the social disconnection that might come along with it.
Nikken Sekkei and Shenzhen University’s School of Architecture & Urban Planning held a forum on the theme of "New Trends and Practices in Sustainable Design" at the on-campus Benyuan Hall on December 8.
Thanks to the Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design (HKIUD), our project has been awarded Special Citation (Plan/Concept Category) in HKIUD Urban Design Awards 2021.
